EASe CD - Loaner Program

Introduction

The following is a loaner program that is available only to subscribers of the Autism List formerly located at St. John's Univerisity. If you are not a subscriber and yet are interested please follow the link below to the actual site of the product

Currently Jean Kulczyk is handling the mailing out of the CDs. Filling out the form on this site will send mail to whomever is handling it at the time.

What is this program

Vision Audio, through the kind assistance of William Mueller, has kindly donated 5 sets of Disk 1 and Disk 2 of the program for distribution to subscribers of the Autism List, where an interest has been shown in this kind of program.

Rather than me try to explain the program I suggest you visit the site of the program. EASe Disc 1.

These discs are loaned without any stipulation as to the use of the EASe discs by non-profit organizations (which includes email list groups such as ours) other than asking that each borrower please fill out the results forms. Borrowing these discs will not result in their calling you to bother you about any further investment or obligation. They have assured me they have never made any attempt to contact anyone on the lists.

One point that you may wish to know is that Vision Audio sells the discs to parents and then donates the profits to another non-profit organization, The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential, Philadelphia, PA.

The procedure

The following is what we need when we are ready to send the CDs to you.

  1. Let us know you wish to be added to the waiting list to borrow the CDs.

    2. Note: There is a difficulty in emailing a form that causes a delay of possibly a day. Therefore you may either take the choice of the electronic form, or you may choose the link that generates email directly to whichever of us are maintaining the waiting list.

    The list is already fairly sizeable, so there is a wait.

  2. We will acknowledge receipt of your request and let you know you are on our waiting list.

  3. Wait until you hear from us again when we are ready to send a set of the CDs to you

  4. Upon receipt of our notice that your turn is here, please send the following within 10 days*:

    1. A check for $148.00 made payable to "Vision Audio Inc"

    2. A postage stamp to cover our shipping the CDs to you. The person maintaining the loan list will advise you how much this needs to be when they contact you when you are the next on the list to receive the CDs.

    3. A Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (for us to use to send your check for $148.00 back to you after you return the CDs)

    *NOTE: The 10 day limit is to keep the list moving, we can't hold the disks for long periods of time waiting for the money and the other information we need. Other people are waiting. If you can't send the check and information please email us to be moved down the list, if we don't get the information within 10 days we will be forced to go to the next person on the waiting list.

  5. Try out the program as directed in the documentation that comes with the CDs

  6. Fill out a result form to give feedback to Vision Audio

    7. You can either fill out the following form which you can obtain by clicking on the following link, printing the form and then mailing it by U.S. Mail.

  7. Return the CDs to whoever sent them to you or follow whatever directions they give you.
The waiting list is on a first come, first serve basis.

NOTE: This program will run only on a CD player, and should be used with high quality headphones as the directions that come with them will tell you. Despite the fact it is also violation of copyright, copying these to cassette will not work, the harmonics and quality of the tape, regardless of grade cannot reproduce the proper frequencies that make this program work.
